Bentley unveils the rare Batur Convertible. It will be the most expensive and most powerful internal combustion convertible. This stunning grand tourer combines Bentley heritage with cutting-edge design.
Under the bonnet roars a legendary hand-assembled 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, delivering 739 horsepower and 101 Nm of torque through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Optimised turbos and calibration boost performance and fuel efficiency, delivering power even in economy mode.
It’s expected to match the hard top’s 0-100km/h time of 3.4 seconds and top speed of 336km/h, and will cost over GBP 2 million (approximately Rs 20.9 crore).
The Batur Convertible offers extensive customisation options. Colours, materials, finishes – the only limit is your imagination. Bentley even works with expert goldsmiths to add a unique, personal touch.
With only 16 units planned worldwide, the Batur Convertible is a rare and coveted prize.
Bentley’s hint that the Batur Convertible is “one of the last ever” to be equipped with the W12 engine is exciting news for enthusiasts. It suggests that we could see more exclusive, W12-powered special editions before Bentley switches to V8 hybrid powertrains for its mainstream range.
