If you are having a Ford Mustang 2024, then you have to take your car to the dealer. According to Ford, cars built from July 25, 2023, to September 15, 2023, could have a casting defect which is near the rear suspension knuckles.
They are calling around 4600+ cars to your local Ford dealer and checking the knuckles issue.
The team will check all the components, and if they see any issues with them, then they will change the components for FREE, which means you don’t have to pay anything.
According to the automaker, a failing rear suspension knuckle could cause excessive toe in or toe out during braking or accelerating, potentially leading to decreased lateral stiffness and altered directional control.
In severe cases, a catastrophic failure could result in an inoperable vehicle or even a collision.
Ford has advised owners of affected Mustangs to contact their local dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair. The recall number is 24S49.
