    • A copy of Proof of your AADHAR Card 
    • Proof of Indian citizenship certificate: Generally, Birth Certificate.  

    2. Visit Parivahan Sarthi Portal: 

      First and the foremost step to apply for an International Driving License in India is you need to visit the official website Parivahan Sarthi Portal

      • The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) allows visitors to apply online for IDP just by performing these simple steps. 
      • Locate for that link which they’ll mention applying for an IDP. Sometimes it takes a little time so you have to wait. 
      • Next, you’ll need to fill in the applicant’s personal details and Indian license number, then type the same captcha code and proceed to the next step. 
      • On the next step, the portal shows your driving license details with your photo. It clearly shows the statement “The above details are mine” So you have to check first and then press the “YES” button. 
        Note: If you want to opt for a cab driver seat in another country, choose another option to apply for a Public Service Vehicle (PSV).
