Kia EV6 facelift patented in India, debut is expected soon. This will be Kia’s third luxury offering in India, following the new Carnival and EV9.
Kia India plans to launch two premium vehicles in the country, including the new-generation Carnival and the EV9 electric SUV, which were showcased in May. While both of the aforementioned vehicles will be launched in India next month, the manufacturer is also working on another premium product that might be released soon after.
Kia EV6 Right Front Three-Quarters
The Korean carmaker has patented a facelifted version of the EV6 for the Indian market, hinting that its release is close. The revamped electric crossover, which had its global debut in May of this year, has a new exterior design, a larger battery pack, and minor interior modifications.
Kia EV6 Left Rear Three-quarter
On the design front, the EV6 facelift has a redesigned fascia with triangular-shaped LED DRLs and a revised bumper with a new air dam. In addition, it gets new 20-inch alloy wheels and modest changes to the LED light bar on the tailgate.
Kia EV6 Dashboard
Another material change within the 2025 Kia EV6 version is a new dual-tone steering wheel, which is a seamless steering wheel design with an offset logo, a 12-inch head-up display, and a digital IRVM. The larger 84kWh battery pack replaces the previous-generation 77.4kWh battery pack. Although Kia has yet to give the range specifications for this model enhanced, it is still having its 350kW DC fast charging ability that enabled the model to charge within 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
