Electric cars has good future and they are quite expensive in the market right now. Lucid Air sedan starts at $71,400 and there upcoming car Gravity SUV is also expected to start around $80,000.
According to the reports from Carbuzz.com, Lucid Motors plans to bring three new electric vehicle models in a lower price range to make electric cars more affordable.
Lucid Motors has already done Trademark filings for the new name called “Lucid Earth” or “Earth Dream Edition,” and productions are going to begin in late 2026.
The upcoming model will be more compact, it will be lighter and emphasizing aerodynamics, efficiency, and space.
Also in the mid range there main competitor will be Tesla Model 3 and it will be interesting to see what Tesla will be doing when this car is going to come on roads.
There are also possibility that Lucid will be making sports car, using what they learned from the Air Sapphire and their partnership with Aston Martin. This shows they have the skills to build a high-performance vehicle.
As Lucid wants to reach more and more people by offering different types of electric cars for all segment users.
It will be interesting to see who market is going to reacts this switch to electric cars.
