According to the reports, The Ford Mustang Mach-E- has created a new Guinness World Record for covering the longest driving distance on a single charge by a production EV.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E has completed a 569-mile (915.717 km) journey on a single charge.
It is said that some eco-driving experts in England, such as Kevin Booker and Sam Clark, drove the EV. Being a record-setter, The Ford Mustang Mach-E has a 91kWh extended-range battery and a single rear-mounted mirror.
This model is set to have a official range of 320 miles(515km) which is 78% better than what they have aimed.
The drive was recorded on public roads to a great extent and got recognition in Guinness World Records.
Though The Mustang has a good impression, it goes farther than the Mercedes-Benz EQXX, which drove 747 miles (1202 km) on a single charge in 2022. However, the EQXX concept features meticulous aerodynamic elements to optimise its range.
The Mustang doesn’t have those high-tech, booming features, but it can be claimed for regular use.
As per the source, it has been recorded that the Mach-E travelled 21 miles (33 km) while the car displayed 0% charge in its batteries.
