MG Cyberster Set to Launch in India in January 2025

The MG Cyberster will coming to India in January 2025, the news has been confirm by brand. The Cyberster was showcased in Indian this year, this is the first electrics sportscar.

It will be sold through premium MG Select retail channel. The expected price of the MG Cyberster will be around Rs 60 lakh and Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Exterior MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster features a striking design, starting with LED projector headlights at the front, complemented by LED DRL elements and a chrome MG logo. The bumper sports a black lower grille with functional air vents, designed to cool the battery pack and electrical components.

From the side, the Cyberster grabs attention with its scissor doors and up to 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Body-colored ORVMs with integrated turn indicators add to its sleek profile.

The rear design is particularly bold, featuring arrow-shaped LED tail lights and an inverted U-shaped light bar, making it stand out as one of the most futuristic elements of the car.

Dashboard Design

  • Tri-screen setup: Two for the driver’s display, one 7-inch touchscreen.
  • Additional screen for AC controls between the dashboard and center console.

Interior Features

  • Sport seats with 6-way electrically adjustable, heated seats and memory function.
  • It will have Multi-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with audio and driver display controls.
  • Round steering dial for launch control and paddle shifters for regeneration modes.
  • Electrically openable and foldable roof.
  • 8-speaker Bose audio system.

Safety Features

  • It will come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like lane-keep assist and active emergency braking (expected).
  • Multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

MG Cyberster Specs

The base model of the MG Cyberster comes with a single motor on the rear axle, producing 308hp. It has a 64kWh battery that offers a claimed range of 520km. The top model packs more power with two motors, delivering a combined 544hp and 725Nm of torque. It features a larger 77kWh battery and provides a range of up to 580km (CLTC-rated).
