Triumph has teased on X today, showing the new Speed Twin 1200 RS, which is coming to India. The new Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS will get latest updates over the old Speed Twin 1200, which is already in the India market at Rs 11.89 lakh, ex-showroom.

According to the teaser, the Speed Twin 1200 RS will get new color schemes and sportier graphics. The engine remains the same as a 1200cc twin-cylinder engine. There will be slight horsepower improvement, but there is not much we can expect from this new version. It will be the same 6-speed gearbox.
The RS model might get a suspension upgrade, swapping the Marzocchi forks for fully adjustable Ohlins units at the front and rear. The brakes could also be upgraded with Brembo calipers for better stopping power.
The new Speed Twin 1200 RS will use the same steel frame as the regular Speed Twin 1200. It weighs less than the current model, which is 216kg.
